CALL FOR PAPERS
The Organisers invite interested scholars to submit their abstracts for the conference titled “Arts and Aesthetics at Boundaries of Democracy”, to be held at the University of Brasília, Brazil, 25-28 August, 2026. The choice of this theme stems from the need to reflect on the presence, meaning, and agency of works of art, artists, landscapes, and aesthetic regimes in a time of extreme challenges to democratic models, bringing them to their boundaries.
