The Organisers are pleased to announce the Third Coffee Break Conference of Aesthetics. After the successful previous two editions in Velence, Hungary (2024) and Helsinki, Finland (2025), the third event will be in Warsaw, Poland, 27-30 August, 2026. The leading theme of this year’s edition is: Crisis Aesthetics.
The Coffee Break Conference of Aesthetics is organised by The Society of Dialogical Aesthetics (SoDA). Please, find more information on SoDA and its activities, as well as the Call for Papers of the next edition on the website of the Society.

The Coffee Break Conference of Aesthetics is a more engaging and dialogical scholarly meeting, in which the proportions of a traditional academic conference are inverted; while in conferences we normally have long lecture sessions of passive listening and short coffee breaks for some talks, here the focus is on the discussions – regarding each other’s academic research and beyond. This novel format thus provides participants with significantly more feedback and more time for conversations.
