Within the frame of the “Communities and Artistic Participation in Hybrid Environment” Project (CAPHE) HORIZON-MSCA-2021-SE-01 were recently published the CPFs for the contributions to two volumes of the collective monographs entitled “New Coordinates for Creative Hybrid Space-Experiences: Environments, communities, identities, and art” and “Experiences in Hybrid Spaces: Creation, Reception, Understanding”.

The Aesthetic Division at the Department of Philosophy, University of Rijeka and the Croatian Society for Analytic Philosophy organises a conference dedicated to Aesthetic Education and Screen Stories. The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars working in philosophy of art and aesthetics, film theory, media studies, cultural studies and other domains dedicated to the study of film and television, with the aim of exploring cognitive, ethical, educational and other aspects of the aesthetic experience of film and television series and serials – screen stories for short.

The fifth international conference Taboo - Transgression - Transcendence in Art & Science will take place September 27–29, 2023 in Valletta, hosted by the Malta Society of Arts. Including theoretical and art practice presentations, TTT2023 continues to focus (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and aesthetics of liminality as expressed in art that uses or is inspired by technology and science, and (b) on providing uncensored space for creative transformation in the merging of science and art.

A British Society of Aesthetics - University of York Conference is organised on 5-6 July 2023 to celebrate with Professor Peter Lamarque the occasion of his retirement from the University of York and to continue with him the philosophical conversation he has sustained over several decades. The intersection of aesthetics and politics is a complex and multifaceted field of study. From the use of art as propaganda to the exploitation of creative processes for political ends, the ways in which aesthetics and politics intersect are numerous and varied.
Editors of The Polish Journal of Aesthetics invite researchers to submit articles that explore the relationship between aesthetics and political economy. They are particularly interested in analyses of political conflicts, artists and art practices, and their relationship to economic systems and structures. However, they welcome submissions from all areas of art and aesthetics that relate to this theme.
