Food has been an essential food for thought for centuries. Posing a bundle of philosophical problems with interwoven ethical, political, environmental, social, cultural, and aesthetic layers, food is hard to swallow. With the object of exploring these intricate philosophical problems in depth, the Organisers are looking forward to receiving contributions that preferably put in dialogue the perspectives of natural and engineering sciences with those of philosophy and other disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The 3. Turkish Congress of Aesthetics is scheduled to be held between 23-25 May, 2019, at METU Culture and Convention Center in Ankara, Turkey. The congress is organized by SANART Association of Aesthetics and Visual Culture, in cooperation with Ankara University Department of Philosophy, Middle East Technical University Departments of Philosophy, Architecture, Music and Fine Arts. The Organisers warmly welcome scholars and artists to submit proposals for paper presentations, panels and workshops, and share valuable experiences with scholars and students working in different fields of aesthetics.
